so my dad comes up to me just now in an actual fit of hysterics, I don’t think i’v seen him cracking up so much in a long long time. When asked what was up with him he produced an amusing carrot he had just found in the kitchen.

Bit of a musical post. As people who know me know I am a rather big fan of the Misfits whom are a horror punk band and have been a big influence to many other bands over the 30 or so years they have been about. There have been two incarnations of the Misfits, the first being the original lineup with Glenn Danzig as the front man and many years later Jerry Only recreated the Misfits with a new young front man named Michale Graves.
These two periods in time are funnily enough known as old misfits and new misfits heh. Anyhoo this incarnation of the Misfits didnt last for too long and Mr Graves was gotten rid of due to some rift or whatever. Now many fans hold onto the old misfits lineup and albums and spit at the new stuff they did with Mr Graves, this is mainly because they are old and stupid, I am not one of these people. The Misfits are still about but Jerry Only sings now which is just funny to watch, i dub this current period as ‘the shitfits’.
So what happend to Michale Graves I hear you scream as the fascination of this post grips your neck heh, well i shall tell you.
After doing a few solo projects he mainly now tours about doing acoustic sets playing all the songs he wrote in the misfits and all his stuff since. Now Michale Graves is not the best guitar player in the world, nor is he the best singer but he hits a nerve with me. Sometimes you just click with an artist or band and they have an effect on you, Michale Graves is one of these people and as a song writer he should be a hell of a lot more well known than he is.
I urge you to buy this album and give it a listen perhaps he wont shine any light for you but maybe he might,,,

As in coins… does anyone notice that after a rather brutal night out you are left with coins, lots and lots of fucking coins.
Take last night for example here is the state of my wallet:
There is at least 10-12 quid in there in coins is it not just funny how when you get drunk you loose the ability to count and the urge to even bother. How simple it is to just hand over a tenner for a few drinks and drop the change into the ever growing collection in you pocket.
One of the worse places I have found for this kind of behaviour is the Pad club in bedford because its so fuckin dark inside, in fact I don’t think i have ever bought a drink in there with coins I can’t see it working.
The problem with having so much change in your pocket is that you get this (well i do) feeling that it isn’t really money, it does not hold the same significance or pride of place in your wallet than a tenner ot twenty pound note does. In that regard you just fritter those coins away on anything while at a shop or something and don’t feel bad when they are gone. Which is what i’m gonna do right now… diet coke and whatever takes my fancy from the local shop woooo.

what did i learn from this eve… fairly not much which is a bad thing and sometimes a good thing when yoiu think about it.

So I had a blog on the wordpress site and I never really updated it. This I think was mainly due to the fact it was on their site and therefore you couldent really mess about with it too much, being the geek that I am I like to mess about with website type stuffe, kinda like catholic priests and choir boys.
I recently had to setup a WordPress blog up for a client at work on our own servers and was quite impressed how easy it was to deploy and play about with so I decided to do one for my self. Bit of a dilema as I didnt really want it hosted at work for a few reasons but my good olde chum Henry came to the rescue and after a bit of giggery pokery I R have Blogz.
I post a lot of crap/thoughts/funnies whatever to people via email, facebook, msn etc… and hit on the idea that I might as well just post it on this here blog and feed it out to all these places falling under that gay buzzword web 2.0 i guess, although we’ll leave that expression to IT salesman who like lots of money and fucking supermodels on their private jets (barstardios).
So yea thats it… more to come. For now I shall leave you with this picture of a monkey.
